Welcome to the newly revitalized ADECN!

Originally founded in 1995, ADECN was developed alongside the Association for Internship Training in Clinical Neuropsychology (AITCN) and the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN) in response to the Houston Conference on Specialty Education and Training in Clinical Neuropsychology (Hannay et al., 1997).

ADCEN endeavors to:

  1. advocate for and promote the concerns of doctoral education and training in clinical neuropsychology
  2. promote appropriate standards for education, training, and research in clinical neuropsychology at the doctoral level
  3. inform clinical neuropsychologists, individuals in related disciplines, and the general public about doctoral education, training, and related activities in clinical neuropsychology.

Current ADECN members include Drexel University, University of Houston, Washington State University, Temple University, University of Florida, University of California-San Diego, and the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
